A behind-the-scenes look at how collaboration, simulation, and real-world feedback are shaping Predict Media ahead of launch.

Collaborating in real-world environments
We spent the day at Coventry University with the team at The Simulation Centre, continuing our collaborative work on Predict Media. Although the product is still pre-launch, the session gave us a valuable opportunity to see how students from different disciplines respond when information begins to move quickly across simulated social and news platforms.
These sessions are an essential part of how we build. They allow us to observe real interactions, pressure points, and behaviours that can’t be fully anticipated in a design document or development environment.
Immersive learning and perspective
The day also offered insight into how facilities such as The Cave at Coventry University, used in previous student simulations, support immersive learning. These environments provide valuable perspective when shaping how Predict Media behaves under pressure, particularly in fast-moving, information-rich scenarios.
Understanding how people engage with simulated media in these settings helps us ensure the system feels realistic, responsive, and aligned with training objectives.
“Real insight comes from seeing technology used in the environments it’s designed for.”

Learning from feedback
The feedback from the session was excellent. Watching how participants navigated rapid posts, updates, and reports highlighted what felt intuitive and where refinements were needed.
This kind of observation-led feedback is invaluable. It allows us to adjust the experience based on how the system is actually used, rather than how we assume it will be used.
Building together
What stood out most was the strength of collaboration. Working closely with the Simulation Centre team and observing students in action reinforces the value of building with partners, not just delivering a finished product to them.
As development continues, these shared learning moments will keep shaping Predict Media into a tool that genuinely supports immersive, modern training environments.
